Privacy
The operator of this site is socialsportsarena, reachable at editors@socialsportsarena.com. This page explains what happens to personal data when you use the site or write to us.
If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, subject and message you supply. We use them for one purpose: to read your message and answer it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in corresponding with readers, and your consent where you give it by ticking the box.
Correspondence is kept while it is being dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can trace how an entry came to be corrected. After that it is deleted. Material that supports a published correction may be kept longer as an editorial record.
Our host writes ordinary server logs, which include the address your request came from, the time, the page requested and your browser string. These exist for security and for keeping the site running, and they are kept for a short period before deletion.
There is no analytics on this site, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no third-party cookies and no social embeds. The only script we serve is the one that opens and closes the menu on narrow screens, and it stores nothing.
Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts that service and it receives your address as part of the request. If that matters to you, a content blocker will stop it and the site will still read correctly in a system serif.
The site is served by a hosting provider acting on our instructions. Where hosting or email involves transfer outside your own country, that transfer relies on the safeguards those providers publish.
You may ask us for a copy of your data, for correction, for erasure, for restriction of processing, and you may object to processing. Write to the address above. You may also complain to your national supervisory authority.
